The Turbine (Motor) Powerhouse, The heart of the System
Let’s face it air flow is air flow…….right? Well, maybe not.

Turbine HVLP systems work off of high volumes of air.You can have too much and even more important, many systems produce way to little and cause uneven splatter.
 
The motors in many systems sold today are intended to be used once every few weeks, some even every few months. Daily use will soon burn these other so called spray tan systems out quickly.

Imagine being in the middle of a spray tan session, your all but naked client is standing there with tanning solution on 50% of there body and your machine quits.
 
They won’t be very understanding, would you be?
 
The Taper fan turbine motor used in the MaxiMist is a proven performer in the Earlex Commercial HVLP line and provides superior reliability and performance.
 
It is made to run everyday day in and day out.
 
It also provides the PERFECT amount of airflow to give you the best results, not to much, and most important, not to little. (55 cubic feet per minute or CFM)
 
This motor runs cooler than any other turbine motor we have ever tested in its class, hot running motors have short life spans, much like your car engine, if it over heats, you have problems.
 
All turbines sound like vacuum cleaners, some louder (much louder) than others.
 
This unit runs quieter than any we know of in its class, which makes using it in a salon environment not an issue; you can speak without yelling while the unit is running in a 6x6 room., sounds more like a blow dryer that a commercial wet vac.
 
One of the most import elements of a turbine system and often most over looked is the filter that prevents material (over spray/mist) from entering the motor itself.
 
Most systems either have no filter at all or make it almost impossible to clean or change. The MaxiMist motors filter is located in a very convenient place that you notice so you don't forget its there. (ya know…….. “outta sight outta mind”)

EVERTYTHING about this Spray Gun has been designed to do one thing and one thing only, apply the best sunless Spray Tan possible EVERYTIME and make using the Spray Gun enjoyable and easy.
We will start with our cup, yep that’s right; we are going to start with a silly cup. 
How can a cup be so different and make a difference in the use of the system?

We thought it was very important so we spent months working with the design team on the "cup", and yes they even thought we where a bit crazy, “Is not a cup a cup?“ they kept asking.
First thing we wanted was a Spray Gun that would stand on its own. We didn't want to have to look for a place to hang the Spray Gun. So we knew we needed a cup with a wide bottom....but that made the cup to big. (Trust us you don't want a 12-32oz cup no matter what the other guy tells you.)………8oz MAX is all you need or want, period.

So by accident we came across a great feature (We would like to think it was the intention).

The "Concave Wide Mouth" Solution Cup 

In order to maintain an 8oz volume and still have a wide bottom so the gun could stand alone, we needed to "shrink" the center of the cup.

The benefit is that we came up with a cup that:

Is super easy to hold while filling, you can actually grip the cup around the center.

The "wide mouth" makes filling super easy, no more mess on your hands. (Sounds like no real biggie, but it is)

The "concave" center also prevents splash back while filling, again no more stained hands after filling. (Again, our 37 spray techs we employ will tell you how great this is)

The "concave" design also assists in the solution’s flow while spraying.

When you tilt the gun and your solution volume is low, the concave design forces solution to stay in the bottom of the cup with the direction you have the gun tilted, helping prevent "dry spraying" (when the pickup tube is sucking air)

We love our cup design so much we include 3 EXTRA CUPS WITH AIR TIGHT LIDS WITH EVERY SYSTEM.

This allows you to have different darkness levels ready for different clients without needing to empty solution back and forth between clients and back into the original solution container. (Which is a REAL PAIN!!!)

But we went one step further; we even improved the solution "pickup tube".

Our exclusive design consist of a "flexible weighted" solution pick up tube that moves with the direction of the spray guns “tilt”, this allows almost a 100% removal of any product in the cup no matter what angle you have the gun tilted...... NO other spray gun anywhere has this feature.

You’re not supposed to tilt a spray gun, but go ahead and tilt away with this feature.

Our Tip & Needle setup (VERY VERY IMPORTANT YOU ALWAYS KNOW THIS) We can promise this, no other system has the atomization properties of this setup…NONE!


Our MaxiMister applies at an incredibly low 1.7psi. That what HVLP is, (High Volume of Air, Low Pressure)

The MaxiMister Spray Gun is SUPER easy to adjust with only one pattern adjustment dial, set it and forget it.  It’s not rocket science with our spray guns!! 

You can adjust for a Vertical or Horizontal spray pattern, or do both.... which ever works best for you. 

Another important feature, no matter now many applications you have done back to back, this GUN DOES NOT GET SO HOT IT WILL BURN YOU! We have eliminated every part possible that did not need to be metal for two reasons, weight and heat retention. We have used guns that get so hot it will make your skin sizzle.
